🔧 What it does & how to use
The jig lets you bend wire into consistent, repeatable shapes — loops, spirals and angled forms — by wrapping it around a chosen arrangement of pins, while the channels on the board guide straight, half-round or triangular bends. The chain nose pliers then grip and finish the wire without marking it. Together they suit jewellery makers, wire wrappers and hobbyists making ear wires, loops, clasps and connectors from craft, copper, brass or aluminium wire.
- Set the pattern: position the 4 removable 5mm pins in the board to lay out your loop or shape.
- Pick a channel: use the straight, half-round or triangular groove to guide the wire's profile.
- Wrap the wire: feed the wire around and between the pins to form the loop, spiral or bend.
- Repeat the shape: keep the same pin layout to produce identical pieces every time.
- Fix down if needed: use the jig's mounting holes to bolt it to a bench for one-handed working.
- Finish with the pliers: grip, tighten and tidy wire ends with the smooth 2" jaws, which won't scratch or mark the wire.
