The spring bar tool is used to fit and remove the small spring-loaded bars that hold a watch strap or bracelet to the lugs of the case. One end has a forked tip for unhooking spring bars from the lug holes, while the other end can have a pointed tip for pressing bars back into place. The tool has an integrated ruler along its body, handy for checking lug width or spring bar length before buying a replacement strap, and a screw-on top that opens to reveal storage for 2 spare spring bar pins inside the handle — so you always have backups to hand.
The link remover tool is used on metal watch bracelets to shorten or lengthen them to fit the wrist. It works by pushing out the small pins or screws that hold each link together, allowing you to remove or add links, or to take out a pin that's holding the clasp or an end link in place. Simply locate the pin (usually indicated by an arrow or dot on the underside of the link), rest the bracelet on a stable surface, and use the tool's punch/pin end to press the pin through and out of the link.
