4-Piece Watch Parts Cleaning Basket Set — Mesh Jars for Ultrasonic Cleaners
A complete watchmaker's cleaning basket set: one large 48mm chromed steel mesh jar and three smaller 24mm solid brass mesh jars. The classic accessory for keeping every tiny screw, jewel, wheel and pinion safely together while cleaning fluid and ultrasonic waves do their work.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
- 1 x 48mm large chromed steel mesh basket — for larger watch parts, clock parts, balance cocks, bridges, main plates
- 3 x 24mm small brass mesh baskets — for screws, jewels, pallet forks, pinions, small wheels, stones and findings
HOW THEY WORK
Each basket unscrews in the middle. You drop your parts into the bottom half, screw the top back on, and the fine stainless mesh at both ends keeps everything contained while letting cleaning fluid pass freely through. Drop the basket straight into your ultrasonic cleaner tank, or hang it in the bath of a traditional watch cleaning machine.
No more lost screws. No more fishing jewels out of a tank with tweezers. Every part goes back in the order it came out.

WHY THE THREE SMALLER BASKETS?
When you strip a movement you often want to separate the jewels from the screws from the plates — put each group in its own small brass basket, put the bigger bridges and plates in the large steel basket, and every part gets the same cleaning without cross-contamination. One basket for plates, one for screws, one for jewels — the traditional watchmaker's system.
CARE & USE
Rinse after use with clean solvent and dry naturally — don't force-dry hot mesh with a rag as fine strands can pick up lint. Over time the brass baskets will develop a warm patina, which is normal and does not affect function. A drop of light oil on the threads keeps them turning smoothly.
