🔧 What it does & how to use
These baskets keep small watch, clock and jewellery parts contained and separated while cleaning fluid or ultrasonic waves work around them, so nothing gets lost in the tank or fished out one screw at a time with tweezers. The large steel basket suits bigger components such as bridges, plates and cases; the three brass baskets are sized for screws, jewels, pallet forks, pinions and other tiny parts, letting you clean different groups separately without cross-contamination.
- Load the basket: unscrew the middle joint and drop your parts into the bottom half.
- Close it up: screw the top back on — the fine mesh at both ends holds parts in while letting fluid pass through freely.
- Sort as you go: use separate baskets for plates, screws and jewels to keep each group together.
- Clean: drop the loaded baskets straight into an ultrasonic tank, or hang them in a traditional watch cleaning machine bath.
- Rinse and dry: rinse with clean solvent afterwards and allow to air dry rather than force-drying with a rag.
