🔧 What it does & how to use
This tool lifts snap-on (press-fit) case backs cleanly off a watch case without slipping or marking the case edges — handy for battery changes, movement servicing, or general repairs. Suitable for hobbyists as well as professional watchmakers.
- Locate the seam: find the small gap between the case back and the middle case where the two parts meet.
- Position the blade/tip: rest the opener's edge into this seam, keeping the watch steady on a bench or case cushion.
- Turn the winding knob: rotate it to apply steady, controlled leverage rather than a sudden pry.
- Ease the back off: work the tool gently around the seam until the case back pops free.
- Refit: press the case back squarely back into place by hand once work is complete.
⚠️ Please check your case back is genuinely snap-on (press-fit) before use — this tool is not designed for screw-back cases and won't work on that type.
