🔧 What it does & how to use
A crystal lift is a simple, essential tool for watch repairers — both hobbyists and professionals — for removing and fitting plastic or acrylic watch crystals without cracking them or scratching the case.
The tool has a set of jaws that open up to 34mm to grip around the outer edge of the crystal. To remove a crystal, adjust the jaws to grip the crystal firmly, then squeeze the handle to lift it cleanly out of the case. To fit a new crystal, position it over the case opening, grip it with the tool and press it evenly down into the case rim until it seats.
Because it grips and lifts by the crystal's edge rather than levering with a blade, it's a much gentler and more controlled method than using a knife or screwdriver.
⚠️ Please check this tool is suited to plastic and acrylic crystals only — it is not designed for glass or sapphire crystals.
