🔧 What it does & how to use
This set is used to form and flare the edges of a spinner ring's main band so the outer spinner band is retained but remains free to rotate. It's suited to jewellers, silversmiths, metalworkers, and hobby makers producing spinner ring designs, and is a useful bench addition for workshop, studio, or home jewellery making.
- Prepare and size the main ring band before forming.
- Position the ring band over the most suitable hole in the support block.
- Insert the forming mandrel into the ring and gently strike with a suitable hammer to flare one side.
- If making a spinner ring, add the spinner band before forming the second side.
- Turn the ring over and repeat on the opposite side until both edges are even and balanced.
⚠️ Please check the support block's hole sizes suit your ring band diameter before forming, as results depend on matching the band to the right hole.
