🔧 What it does & how to use

A hand press is used to fit hour, minute and second hands onto a movement without damaging the pinions or the dial. Each tool is made from lightweight knurled aluminium and is double-ended, giving a different size at each end so one tool covers two hand-hole diameters. The set of three gives you six sizes to match different pinion widths:

• Grey tool: 0.50mm / 1.00mm
• Red tool: 0.80mm / 3.50mm (flat)
• Blue tool: 1.50mm / 2.00mm

To use, select the end that matches the hand's centre hole, place the hand over the pinion, position the tool over the hand and press down evenly and gently until the hand is seated flush. Useful for watchmakers, hobbyists and repairers replacing or fitting hands during a service or hand-set swap.
