- Locate the lip: Find the small gap or lip on the edge of the case back where the blade can be inserted.
- Insert and lever: Push the metal blade end into the lip and gently lever to pop the back away from the case.
- Protect the case: Use the nylon end against the case body to avoid scratching or marking the finish while you work.
- Ease it off: Work the blade around the edge if needed until the back lifts free.
