🔧 What it does & how to use
This stand keeps different oils and greases separated and ready to hand at the bench, so you're not forever opening and swapping bottles mid-job. The colour coding lets you keep track of which cup holds which lubricant at a glance, and the lids stop dust and debris settling into the oil between uses. Handy for both hobbyist and professional watch and clock repairers.
- Fill the cups: Add a small amount of each oil or grease you use to its own colour-coded cup.
- Keep them covered: Replace the lid on any cup not currently in use to keep it clean.
- Load the wood: Slot a length of pith wood or peg wood into the holder at the front of the stand (sold separately).
- Wipe the oiler: Dip your oiler or oil pin into the cup, then draw it across the pith wood to remove excess oil before applying it to the movement.
