• Pinch off a piece: break a small, pea-sized amount from the block.
• Dab, don't rub: press it gently onto the part; fingerprints, dust and oil transfer onto the clay.
• Lift debris: use it to draw out broken pivot fragments or dirt from jewel holes and tight spots.
• Discard when dirty: once the surface picks up grime, discard that portion and pinch off fresh clay.
• Reseal after use: keep the remaining block sealed to stop it drying out or picking up workshop dust.
