This is raw strip stock, not a pre-shaped spring, so it needs cutting and fitting with chops or blocks to match your movement. The 0.15mm x 6mm gauge is the widely-used standard size and works well for:
- Mantel clocks (Suspension A1 style)
- Wall and grandmother clocks (Suspension A2 style)
- Grandfather / floor clocks (Suspension A3 style)
- Longcase clocks where an off-the-shelf replacement spring can't be found
⚠️ Please check Suspension spring dimensions vary a lot by clock age and origin — measure your original broken spring's width and thickness before cutting. This 0.15mm gauge is too thick for some French/German anniversary (400-day) movements, which often need much thinner stock (as low as 0.08mm).
