🔧 What it does & how to use
This tool is designed for clockmakers, repairers and hobbyists who need to remove hour and minute hands from a clock movement without bending or damaging them. Pulling hands off by hand or with improvised tools risks marking the dial or distorting the hand fitting — this puller applies even, controlled pressure directly under the hands to lift them straight off the spindle.
- Select the pin: choose whichever of the two supplied pins matches the size of the hand fitting you're working on.
- Position the tool: place the puller's arms under the hand, close to the centre boss, so it doesn't grip the dial.
- Support the movement: hold the clock movement steady so no side pressure is transferred to the pivots.
- Lift the hand: squeeze or press the tool as designed to draw the hand evenly off the spindle.
- Repeat: swap pins as needed for the hour and minute hands, or for different clocks with different fitting sizes.
