🔧 What it does & how to use
This tripod and gauze set supports a heat-resistant wire mesh above a bunsen burner or alcohol lamp, spreading the flame's heat evenly across the base of a beaker, crucible or wax pot — handy for wax work, jewellery casting, laboratory and general craft use. It suits hobbyists and workshops alike, and needs no tools to assemble.
-
Assemble: screw the three legs into the base to form the tripod.
-
Position: stand the tripod over your bunsen burner or alcohol lamp.
-
Add the gauze: rest the wire mesh gauze on top of the tripod ring.
-
Load up: place your beaker, crucible or wax pot on the gauze.
-
Heat: light the burner and heat gently, keeping the gauze centred for even heat spread.
-
Store flat: unscrew the legs from the base to flat-pack when finished.
