This entry-level screw press applies controlled, even pressure to seat watch crystals and close snap-back case backs. It suits hobbyists, watch modders and beginners taking their first steps in home watch repair, rather than professional or heavy commercial workshop use.
- Choose the die: select the nylon die that matches the diameter of the crystal or case back you're fitting.
- Position the watch: place the case or crystal face-up, centred under the chosen die.
- Align the press: bring the nylon-tipped screw down so it sits square over the die.
- Apply pressure: turn the knurled top wheel by hand until the crystal or case back seats fully and evenly.
- Check the fit: release the press and inspect the seating all round; repeat with light turns if needed.
