• Prepare the gasket: make sure it's clean and free of dust or old grease before greasing.
• Sandwich it: place the gasket between the two foam pads.
• Press gently: squeeze the pads together so the grease transfers evenly around the gasket.
• Check coverage: the gasket should have a thin, even film of grease all the way round.
• Fit the gasket: seat it back into the case, crown or crystal ready for assembly.
