This tool is designed for opening snap-back watch cases — the type that click shut without screws — so you can access the movement for battery changes, servicing or strap/seal work. It suits both hobbyists doing occasional battery swaps and repairers working on multiple watches, offering 4 different blade shapes/sizes to match different case-back grooves and gaps.

• Select a blade: Choose the head from the 4 on offer that best matches the seam or notch on the case back.
• Locate the gap: Find the small groove or lip running around the case back where it meets the case.
• Insert and lever: Push the blade tip gently into the gap and lever carefully to pop the seam.
• Work around the case: If it doesn't spring free straight away, move to another point around the edge and lever again.
• Lift the back off: Once released, lift the case back away to expose the movement.
