🔧 What it does & how to use
Riffler files are double-ended hand files with curved, shaped working ends designed to reach into tight curves, grooves and awkward contours that a straight file can't access. Each file in this set has two different profiles or grades, giving 24 usable filing edges across the set. They're used by jewellers, model makers, watch and clock repairers, and hobbyists for smoothing, shaping and finishing metal, wax, wood or other workpieces — particularly for cleaning up cast jewellery, deburring small components, and refining detail in tight spaces. To use, hold the workpiece securely (in a vice or by hand) and draw the appropriate curved end of the file across the area needing shaping, choosing the profile that best matches the contour you're working. The mixed grades in the set let you rough out material with a coarser file, then refine and smooth with a finer one.
