🔧 What it does & how to use
This silicone grease is applied to gaskets and O-rings in watches and cameras to help form a reliable, watertight seal and stop the rubber drying out or perishing over time. It's a handy consumable for anyone servicing case backs, crowns or camera housings at home or on the bench.
-
Clean first: Wipe the gasket or O-ring free of dust, old grease and grit.
-
Apply grease: Work a thin, even coat of silicone grease over the gasket or O-ring.
-
Refit: Seat the greased gasket back into the case back, crown or camera housing.
-
Reassemble: Close up the case or back cover and check the fit is snug before use.
Matching round and flat gaskets are also available in our shop if you need a replacement to go with the grease.
