🔧 What it does & how to use

Starting a small screw by hand is fiddly and it's easy to lose one down into a movement — these tweezers grip the screw firmly so you can position and begin winding it in with control, then get out of the way once the thread has caught. Useful for watchmakers, repairers and anyone assembling or servicing small mechanisms with tiny screws.

• Grip the screw: Pick up the loose screw with the tweezers so it's held securely by the head or shank.
• Position it: Guide the screw into its hole in the movement or component while still gripped.
• Start the thread: Use a screwdriver (or your fingers) to begin turning the screw until it catches the thread.
• Release and finish: Slide the tweezers clear and tighten the screw as normal with your screwdriver.
