🔧 What it does & how to use

Resibond is a multipurpose neutral-cure silicone sealant designed for watchmakers fitting or replacing crystals where a waterproof, weather-resistant seal is needed. It cures on exposure to air to form a soft, rubbery, flexible bead that holds the crystal in place and seals out moisture, and it remains stable up to 200°C. Suitable for hobbyist and professional watch repairers alike.

• Prepare: clean the case bezel/seat and the edge of the crystal so both surfaces are free of grease and old adhesive.
• Apply: run a thin, even bead of Resibond around the case seat or the crystal edge — a little goes a long way.
• Fit the crystal: press the crystal into place, seating it evenly all round.
• Remove excess: wipe away any sealant that squeezes out before it skins over.
• Cure: leave undisturbed to cure and form its flexible, waterproof seal before handling or testing the watch.
