🔧 What it does & how to use

Pithwood is a traditional bench staple for watchmakers and jewellers, used to clean fine tools and parts without solvents or scratching. The soft, absorbent wood lifts dust, fibres and excess oil simply by pressing the tool or part into it.

• Tweezers & oilers: press the tip gently into a slice of pithwood to draw out old oil and grime.
• Screwdrivers: push the blade into the wood to clean off fibres and residue between jobs.
• Small parts: press pivots or delicate components into the wood to remove dust before reassembly.
• Reuse: use a fresh area of the slice as needed, or move to a new slice once worn.
