🔧 What it does & how to use

This small tool gives a fast, simple check on whether a watch cell/button battery still has power, handy for watchmakers, hobbyists and anyone clearing out old battery stocks before fitting a fresh one. If the cell has charge, the LED at the end of the tester lights up when contact is made.

• Position the cell: place the battery between the tester's plates.
• Make contact: for normal wristwatch-sized cells, hold the battery at a slight angle so it touches both plates, or gently squeeze the ends together.
• Read the result: if the LED lights up, the cell has power; if it stays dark, the cell is flat.
