🔧 What it does & how to use

These fine stainless steel pins are polishing media for magnetic tumblers, used to burnish and polish jewellery, watch parts and other small metal items to a bright finish. The pins are made from a chromium alloy stainless steel that responds to the tumbler's magnets, allowing them to be driven and circulated by the machine rather than simply tumbling loosely, and — unlike ordinary steel shot — they won't rust in use. Suitable for hobbyists and jewellery makers working with a magnetic tumbler.

• Load the tumbler: Add the pins to your magnetic tumbler's drum along with your items and the recommended amount of water and burnishing compound.
• Run the cycle: Start the tumbler so the magnets set the pins in motion around the drum, burnishing the surfaces of the pieces inside.
• Rinse and separate: Once the cycle is finished, drain and rinse the load, then use the tumbler's magnet to lift the pins away from your polished items.
• Dry and store: Dry the pins thoroughly before storing to keep them working at their best over repeated use.
