🔧 What it does & how to use
A bench tool for jewellers and hobbyists, used to form and size bezels for rings, and to shape wire or metal strip for pendants, earrings and chain components. The gradual taper lets you form a shape and then slide it along the mandrel to grow or shrink it to the size you need.

Choose your shape: select Oval, Square, Hexagonal, Rectangular or Round to match the bezel or component you're forming.

Anneal if needed: soften wire or metal strip first to make it easier to bend around the mandrel.

Wrap the metal: form the bezel or wire around the mandrel at the point matching your target size.

Slide to size: move the workpiece along the taper to adjust the size up or down.

Remove and finish: slip the shaped piece off the tapered end, then solder, finish or set as required.
