Each loupe is a single-lens eyeglass magnifier that fits over the eye socket, held in place by the eyebrow and cheek without straps or headbands, leaving both hands free for close work. This set gives you 5 strengths to choose from, each with a different focal distance and magnification:

• Size 1: 1 inch focal distance, 10x magnification
• Size 1.5: 1.5 inch focal distance, 6.7x magnification
• Size 2: 2 inch focal distance, 5x magnification
• Size 2.5: 2.5 inch focal distance, 4x magnification
• Size 3: 3 inch focal distance, 3.3x magnification

Higher magnification (10x, 6.7x) suits very fine detail work such as inspecting small watch parts or gemstones held close to the eye, while lower magnification (4x, 3.3x) gives a wider field of view at a longer working distance, useful for tasks like soldering, engraving or general jewellery assembly.
