🔧 What it does & how to use
This round bench block acts as a solid, hardened working surface for staking, riveting and hammering tasks on the bench. Its mass and hardness stop it moving or marking under impact, so it's used to back up work while you set jewels, drive out pins, rivet strap fittings or buckles, or true up small metal parts with a hammer or staking punch.
Simply place the block on a stable, flat section of your workbench (its own weight and flat base keep it steady), position the part you're working on directly on top, then apply your staking punch, hammer or riveting tool as needed. The hardened steel surface resists denting from repeated strikes, making it a durable support for watch and clock repair, jewellery making and general small-parts work.
