🔧 What it does & how to use

These pins are the polishing media for a magnetic tumbler, used by jewellers, watchmakers and hobbyists to burnish, deburr and put a bright finish on metal items such as jewellery findings, chain, small watch and clock parts. The special chromium alloy stainless steel is formulated to be pulled along by the tumbler's rotating magnets — unlike ordinary steel shot, it won't rust in use.

• Load the barrel: place your items along with the 0.3mm pins into the magnetic tumbler's polishing barrel
• Add liquid: add water and a suitable burnishing compound as needed for your tumbler
• Run the cycle: switch on the tumbler and let the magnets drive the pins around the barrel to polish and work-harden the surfaces
• Rinse and dry: remove the items and pins, rinse, then dry the pins thoroughly before storing to keep them rust-free
