🔧 What it does & how to use

Flux paste cleans the metal surface and prevents oxidation as it heats, allowing solder to flow evenly and bond securely. It's handy on the bench for jewellers, hobbyists and anyone repairing small metal parts such as watch and clock components.

• Clean the joint: make sure the metal surfaces to be joined are clean and free of grease or dirt.
• Apply the flux: use a small brush or tool to spread a thin layer of paste over the joint area.
• Heat the joint: apply heat with a torch or soldering iron; the flux will bubble then clear as it activates, showing the metal is ready.
• Feed in the solder: once the flux is active, introduce the solder to the joint so it flows into the gap.
• Clean off residue: wash the finished joint with water to remove any leftover flux residue.
