🔧 What it does & how to use
This small slot anvil gives a solid, hardened steel surface for supporting pins, rivets and small components while you work on them with a staking set, hammer or punch. It's handy on the watch or clock bench, and equally useful for small jewellery riveting and forming tasks. The 9 holes, in a range of sizes, let you support a shank or pin from beneath so only the head is worked; the V-slot lets you seat round stock, wire or tube securely while you flatten, rivet or form it.

Set it down: place the anvil on a solid, stable bench surface.

Choose a hole: pick the hole that best matches the diameter of the pin, rivet or stem you're supporting.

Position the work: drop the shank through the hole so the head or rivet sits flush on the anvil face.

Strike or press: use your staking punch, hammer or riveting tool to form or flatten the head, with the anvil taking the load beneath.
