🔧 What it does & how to use
A riveting stake is a bench anvil used to support small components such as pivots, pins and rivets while they are peened or riveted in place. The graduated holes let you back a workpiece over an opening that matches its diameter, so the surrounding metal is properly supported and doesn't distort or split under the hammer. It's a core hand tool for clock and watch repairers and jewellers working on hinges, findings, pivots and small riveted joints.
⚠️ Please check you select a hole close to the true diameter of your workpiece — too large a hole leaves the metal unsupported and can cause it to split or deform when struck.
