Suits mini hobby and watchmakers' lathes that run on round polyurethane belting — simply choose the diameter (2mm, 3mm, 4mm or 5mm) that matches your existing belt or pulley groove. Cut the belt to the length needed for your lathe's pulley layout, then join the ends: heat a knife blade and briefly touch it to each cut end to melt the plastic, then press the two ends together to fuse them into a continuous loop.
