🔧 What it does & how to use
This dial gauge is a precision measuring tool for jewellers, gemmologists and hobbyist bead workers who need to quickly and accurately check the diameter of pearls, gems, beads and other small round stones. It reads directly in millimetres up to 10mm, in 0.1mm increments, and includes a presser to hold the dial steady once a reading is set.

Place the stone: Sit the pearl, gem or bead between the gauge's jaws.

Close the gauge: Gently bring the jaws together until they just touch the stone on both sides.

Lock the reading: Use the presser to hold the dial in place at that size.

Read the scale: Take the measurement from the dial, accurate to 0.1mm.

Repeat as needed: Re-open the jaws and measure further stones for grading or sorting by size.
