🔧 What it does & how to use
This is a dual-head nylon mallet used in jewellery making, metal forming and general craft work where a steel hammer would dent, mark or bruise the workpiece. One face is flat (25mm diameter) for striking punches, dapping tools and flattening metal without leaving impact marks; the other face is rounded, useful for shaping, doming and working metal over a dapping block or forming stake. The Delrin nylon head is hard-wearing and holds its shape under repeated use, yet is soft enough not to scar softer metals such as silver, gold, copper or brass. Simply hold the hammer by the handle and strike as you would with a metal hammer — choose the flat face for driving and flattening, and the rounded face for doming and forming curves. Suitable for hobbyists and professional jewellers alike.
