🔧 What it does & how to use
This disc cutter is a jewellery-making tool for punching perfectly round discs out of flat sheet metal — a staple for making pendants, earring blanks, washers and other circular components by hand. The set includes 7 punches, each numbered on the tool for quick identification, covering sizes from 1/4" up to 5/8".
Made from high carbon steel, the punches are hard-wearing enough for repeated use on gold, silver, platinum, aluminium and other workable metals. The tool has a slot to feed strips of metal through, letting you position and cut discs directly from a strip rather than a full sheet. To use, lay your metal over the urethane pad base, select the punch size you need, position it over the metal, and strike with a mallet or hammer to cleanly shear out the disc — the urethane base supports the metal and protects the punch edge as it cuts. Suitable for both hobbyist jewellery makers and small workshop use.
