🔧 What it does & how to use

This is easy-running gold solder — meaning it has a lower flow temperature than hard or medium solders, so it melts and runs smoothly without disturbing joints already soldered earlier in a repair. It's widely used by jewellers and jewellery-craft hobbyists for repairing rings and other gold items, closing joins, reattaching fittings, and general bench soldering work.

To use: clean the joint area, apply flux, place a small snippet of the solder strip at the join, then heat gently with a jeweller's torch until the solder flows and fills the seam. Because it's an easy-flow solder, it's best used for final joins on a piece, after any harder-solder joints have already been made, to avoid remelting them.
