🔧 What it does & how to use
A watchmaker's screwdriver set is used to remove and refit the small screws found in watch cases, movements, straps and bracelets — from case-back and bezel screws down to tiny movement plate screws. The swivel head on each handle lets you spin the shaft with a fingertip while keeping steady downward pressure, giving much finer control than an ordinary screwdriver. Suitable for hobbyists learning basic watch repair as well as working watchmakers.
-
Pick the size: match the blade width to the screw head so it sits flush with no overhang.
-
Slot screws: use one of the 5 flat-blade drivers (1mm–2mm) for standard slotted screws.
-
Phillips screws: use one of the 4 cross-head drivers (1.5mm–3mm) for Phillips-type screws.
-
Hold and turn: steady the handle with your palm, apply light downward pressure, and rotate the swivel head with your fingers to loosen or tighten.
-
Work over a tray: watch screws are tiny and easily lost, so work on a clean, contained surface.
