🔧 What it does & how to use
These fine piercing saw blades suit jewellery makers, silversmiths and hobbyists cutting intricate shapes, fretwork and detail in gold, silver, brass, copper and bronze. The six graded sizes let you match the blade to the metal thickness and level of detail, from the finest 6/0 for delicate piercing work up to the sturdier 1/0 for slightly heavier stock.
- Choose the size: pick a finer blade (6/0–4/0) for thin sheet and intricate detail, or a coarser blade (3/0–1/0) for thicker or tougher material.
- Fit the blade: insert it into the saw frame with the teeth facing outward and down towards the handle.
- Tension it: tighten the frame's clamps until the blade is taut and 'pings' when plucked.
- Cut: use light, even up-and-down strokes and let the blade do the work to avoid snapping it.
