🔧 What it does & how to use
This is a watch and pocket watch hand fitting (pressing) tool, used by watchmakers and hobbyists to press hour, minute and second hands securely onto their pinions without damaging the movement or dial.
The tool body holds interchangeable stakes, or pushers, each sized to match a particular hand-hole diameter. A rubber gasket inside the post grips each pusher firmly by friction, giving controlled, steady pressure when fitting a hand, yet the pusher can be pulled out and swapped for another size in seconds.
To use: select the stake that matches the bore of the hand you're fitting, fit it into the tool's gasket-lined post, position the hand over its pinion, then press down evenly and steadily until the hand is seated. Swap stakes as you move between hour, minute and second hands of different sizes.
Two spare gaskets are included, so if a gasket wears or splits with heavy use, you can replace it and keep the tool working as intended.
