🔧 What it does & how to use
This soldering board gives jewellers, watch/clock repairers and hobbyists a stable, heat-resistant work surface for soldering small metal components. The wire mesh spreads and holds heat evenly across the pad, while the fire-resistant pad protects the bench beneath from scorching or sparks.

Set up: Place the screen flat on a tripod stand.

Position your work: Rest the piece to be soldered on the mesh area, using the solder pad section to catch stray heat or solder runs.

Apply heat: Light an alcohol lamp or Bunsen burner and direct the flame underneath the mesh onto your workpiece.

Solder as normal: Feed solder to the joint once the metal reaches soldering temperature.

Cool and remove: Allow the board and workpiece to cool before lifting the finished piece off the mesh.
