🔧 What it does & how to use
Each brush has a twist-feed handle that advances the bristle bundle as it wears down, keeping a fresh working tip without needing to strip or trim it by hand. The three materials cover different jobs on the bench: fibreglass for gentle cleaning and prepping surfaces before finishing, brass for a soft brushed finish on cases, dials and jewellery, and steel for tougher work such as removing rust or stubborn scratches.
-
Feed bristle: twist the end of the handle to advance fresh bristle as the tip wears.
-
Fibreglass brush: use first to clean dirt and debris from the surface.
-
Brass brush: work over cases, dials or jewellery in one direction for a light brushed finish.
-
Steel brush: use on rust spots or deeper scratches where more abrasion is needed.
-
Finish: wipe away any residue and inspect the finish before moving to the next stage of work.
⚠️ Please check: the steel brush is the most abrasive of the three — test on an inconspicuous area first, as it can mark softer or delicate finishes.
