This setting tool saves time and allows you to cut precise bearing seats.
You simply slide the shank of your setting burr through the "Depth Collet" until you reach the desired depth at which you want to cut the seat Tighten with the Allen wrench.
Insert your burr (with the depth collet attached) into your micromotor / pendant drill. The depth collet will not allow the burr to cut any deeper, thus it keeps the seats even
The set includes 2 depth collets (1 collet for settings 1/10ct to 1/2ct and 1 depth collet for small prong cluster settings) and an Allen wrench
Use these depth collets to cut equal bearings in prong settings, gent’s rings which require hammer settings and baguette boxes.
