🔧 What it does & how to use
This is a bending/forming block for curving strip or wire stock into bracelet, bangle or ring-shank profiles — it's the channel-groove cousin of a dapping block, aimed at jewellery makers from hobbyist to professional bench level. The five half-round grooves give a choice of curve sizes on the one block, and the roller mandrel is used alongside it to press or roll the metal into shape.

Choose your groove: pick the half-round channel (35mm–75mm) closest to the curve you need

Anneal if required: soften silver, gold, copper or other soft metal before forming to avoid cracking — this block isn't intended for hardened or ferrous stock

Seat the stock: lay your strip or wire into the chosen groove

Form the curve: use the matching roller mandrel, or a non-marring/dead-blow mallet, to press or tap the metal down into the groove

Work gradually: deepen the curve in stages rather than forcing it in one strike, to keep the shape even

Check and finish: lift the piece out and test it against your bracelet, bangle or ring sizing before any final adjustments
