This ceramic dish is used to melt metal ready for pouring into a mould or ingot, and is rated for use up to 2800 degrees, making it suitable for gold, silver, platinum, copper and dental alloys. It suits jewellers, dental technicians and hobbyist metal casters working with a torch or small furnace.

Set up: Stand the crucible on a heat-resistant surface, or place it inside your furnace or kiln.

Load the metal: Add the scrap or ingot metal to be melted into the dish.
