🔧 What it does & how to use
A clock winding key engages the square arbor that protrudes through the dial or movement of a spring-driven clock, letting you tension the mainspring by hand. This set gives you five common even sizes in one go, so you're covered whether you're winding a mantel clock, wall clock or longcase movement without hunting for the one key that fits.

Check the arbor: look at the square winding post on the clock and pick the key from the set that slides on with no play but isn't a tight force-fit.

Seat it fully: push the key all the way down onto the arbor so it's square and secure before turning.

Wind smoothly: turn steadily in the clock's normal winding direction, keeping firm contact with the arbor.

Stop at resistance: ease off as soon as you feel the mainspring reach full tension — don't force it further.

Remove square-on: lift the key straight off to avoid rounding the corners of the arbor.
