🔧 What it does & how to use
This tool is designed to open snap-on watch case backs — the type that click into place rather than screw on, most commonly found on quartz watches. Snap-on backs have a small lip running around the edge where the case back meets the case body; this is where the tool is used.
The tool has two working sides: one end is a metal lever for prising the case back away from the case, and the other end is a softer nylon tip used to protect the case finish while you work the back free. To use it, locate the lip on the case back, insert the lever tip into the gap, and gently apply leverage around the edge until the back pops free. The nylon side can be used to push or steady the case without scratching it.
Suitable for hobbyists and watch repairers working on quartz watches with snap-fit backs. It is not designed for screw-down case backs, which require a different type of tool (such as a case back wrench or die).
⚠️ Please check your watch has a snap-on case back before using this tool — screw-on backs need a different opening tool and won't respond to leverage in the same way.
