🔧 What it does & how to use

These dies extend the size range of a case & crystal press, letting a watch repairer fit or remove larger case backs and crystals than the standard die set allows. Each die is reversible, giving two working diameters per die, and the deep dies use a base screw to hold them steady during pressing.

• Pick the right die: match the deep die (for case backs — 43x45mm, 46x50mm, 54x56mm or 57x65mm) or flat die (for crystals — 35x40mm or 45x50mm) to the job.
• Fit to the press: thread the chosen die onto the press's 7mm threaded post.
• Secure deep dies: fit the base screw to lock a deep die in place before pressing.
• Use the second size: flip the die over to switch to its other diameter.
• Press: operate the press as normal to fit or remove the case back or crystal squarely.
