🔧 What it does & how to use

This case opener is used to unscrew and remove screw-type case backs so the movement can be accessed for servicing, battery changes or repairs. It's aimed at watchmakers and hobbyists working on Baume & Mercier watches with screw-down backs that use notch or slot patterns matching one of the three supplied dies.

• Choose the die: select whichever of the 21mm, 26mm or 29mm dies matches the notches on your case back.
• Fit the die: mount the chosen die into the die holder.
• Engage the case back: line the die's pins or blades up with the slots cut into the case back.
• Turn to release: apply steady turning pressure to unscrew the back and lift it away.
• Swap dies as needed: change to a different die when working on a case back of a different size.
