🔧 What it does & how to use

This tool is designed for hobbyists and home watch repairers who need to open a snap-on case back to replace a battery or inspect a movement. It works by levering into the seam between the case back and the case body to pop the back free, without the need for a case press or specialist opening machine.

• Locate the seam: find the small gap or notch around the edge where the case back meets the case body.
• Insert the blade: gently push the thin edge of the tool into the seam.
• Lever the back: twist or pry carefully to pop the snap-on back loose.
• Lift off: once released, lift the case back away to access the battery or movement.
• Refit: press the back firmly back into place by hand once finished.

⚠️ Please check this opener is suitable only for snap-on (press-fit) case backs — it will not work on screw-down backs, which need a screw-back case opener instead.
