The nylon-faced jaws grip firmly enough to stop the bead spinning under the drill bit, while staying soft enough not to scratch or dent the surface. • Position the bead: Sit the bead or pearl between the two nylon grip pads.
• Close the jaws: Tighten the vice until the bead is held firmly and cannot rotate.
• Drill: Drill through the bead using your chosen bit, keeping the vice steady on the bench.
• Release: Loosen the jaws and remove the finished bead.
