🔧 What it does & how to use

A bead stopper is a simple spring clamp used by jewellery makers to hold stringing wire, thread or cord secure at either end while beading, so your work can't slip off before it's finished. Ideal for hobbyists and anyone stringing necklaces, bracelets or other beaded pieces.

• Open the coil: squeeze the two ends of the stopper together to spread the spring apart.
• Load your strand: slide the wire, thread or cord into the open coil.
• Clamp shut: release the ends so the spring closes and grips the strand firmly.
• Secure both ends: fit a stopper at each end of your work to stop beads escaping while you thread.
• Release when done: squeeze the ends again to reopen the coil and slide the stopper off.
